The Spotted Goose Company was born in 2001, shortly after the birth of Renee Dustman’s first child.  After nine months of anticipation, the thrill of meeting her daughter and seeing her name in print was amazing.  One of the first gifts that she received was a burp cloth embroidered with her daughter’s name.  While it was a thoughtful gift that was deeply appreciated, the design lacked the fun that represents the carefree nature of childhood. 

Renee thought a burp cloth that she would use everyday should be fun, but it was difficult to find personalized items that made her say “Wow!”  It was then that The Spotted Goose Company was created.

In 2006, Renee decided to expand what The Spotted Goose Company offered.  To do so, she formed a partnership with Renee Lentz who also shared her same vision—to offer fun embroidery and quality children’s apparel to a world-wide audience of style-conscious parents.  As style-conscious moms themselves, Renee D with three and Renee L with two, they bring experience and shopping savvy to you and yours.  Thus, they have collaboratively created The Spotted Goose Company web boutique, featuring cool clothes and gifts for kids with exclusive, embroidered goods from Spotted Goose Designs.
